Enlistment

Definition

Before a trimester starts, students (excluding freshman during their first and second terms, unless otherwise announced) are supposed to enlist in the subjects or courses that they plan to take for that academic trimester. This usually starts 2 weeks before the start of the term.

Requirements

  1. Pre-enlistment must be done by students to be able to enlist on their respective time and dates. Those that were not able to pre-enlist will be LEAST PRIORITIZED.

  2. Clearance students must be cleared in order to enlist for the upcoming term. Clearance can be viewed in MyLasalle and Animo.Sys.

  3. View Enlistment Appoinment. This indicates the respective time and date the student is allowed to enlist. Enlistment appointments can be viewed in Animo.Sys.

  4. View Course Offerings. This shows the available courses and their respective maximum number of students, professors, time, and day of the week. Course Offerings can be viewed in MyLasalle.

 

Enlistment Notes

  1. Application to Electives or Minors and Special Class (optional)

  2. Printing of EAF (MyLasalle) - check first if classes and details are updated before printing

 

Clearance on My.Lasalle

  1. Log into MyLasalle

  2. Click on VIEW CLEARANCE under STUDENT PROFILE

  3. If you are cleared, you may proceed with enlistment.

  4. If you are NOT cleared

    1. Clearance Holds may vary depending on the department concerned. Refer to the VIEW CLEARANCE tab on your MyLasalle Account to identify the kind of clearance hold.

    2. Common Clearance Hold concerns are related to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Kindly make sure that tuition fees and related payments are settled on time.

 

Clearance on Animo.sys

  1. Log in Animo.Sys

  2. Go to SELF SERVICE > STUDENT CENTER

  3. If you are cleared, you may proceed with enlistment.

  4. If you are NOT cleared

    1. Clearance Holds may vary depending on the department concerned. Refer to the VIEW CLEARANCE tab on your MyLasalle Account to identify the kind of clearance hold.

    2. Common Clearance Hold concerns are related to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Kindly make sure that tuition fees and related payments are settled on time.

 

How to View Enlistment Appointment

  1. Log in Animo.Sys

  2. Click on SELF SERVICE > ENROLLMENT > ENROLLMENT DATES

  3. Under the Enrollment Dates, you will see a table named Open Enrollment Dates by Session where the date and time of your enlistment appointment/s can be found. Below it, you can also see the maximum total number of units you can enlist in a term.

  4. If enrollment appointment in Animo.Sys does not display the correct date and time of my scheduled enrollment based on Enrollment/Adjustment Schedule.

    1. If you are a Dean's Lister, a change of grade may have been processed for you. It is likely that your enrollment appointment was created before the processing of your change grade.

    2. Coordinate with the Office of the University Registrar (OUR) to have your enrollment appointment revised.

    3. Filll out the ITS Help Desk Report Form (Animo.Sys) and upload the scanned/ image copy of the screenshot of the error message you are encountering.

 

How to View Course Offerings in My.Lasalle

  1. Go to MyLasalle and click on View Course Offerings OR log in MLS. Click on VIEW COURSE OFFERINGS under ENROLLMENT

  2. Scroll down and you’ll see an input box where you can type in the course you are planning to take. Then click on Search.

  3. A table the with the following information will be shown:

    1. Class number

    2. Course Name, Section

    3. Day/s

    4. Time, Room

    5. Est Capacity (maximum number of students)

    6. Enrolled (number of students currently enrolled)

    7. Remarks, Professor

  4. From the table, you can now fix your schedules and take note of the Class Number of all courses you plan to take, and your maximum number of units.

 

Steps on how to Enlist

  1. Log in Animo.Sys

  2. From the Menu, click SELF SERVICE > ENROLLMENT and then go to ENROLLMENT: ADD CLASSES

  3. Under 1. Select Classes to add, you will see an input box under Enter Class Nbr in Add to Cart where you can type in the Class Number (from Checking classes in MLS - Step 4) of the course you are planning to take. Then click enter.

  4. Check all the important details (Class name, Section, Professor, Days & Time, Units, etc.). 

    1. If they are all correct, click on NEXT

    2. If not, try to goback and check the class number

  5. Repeat steps 3-4 for all your classes

  6. After all classes are already added, during your appointed schedule of enlisting, PROCEED TO STEP 2 OF 3.

  7. In 2. Confirm Classes, check if all classes are in and correct. Then click FINISH ENROLLING.

  8. 3. View Results will show the result of the classes you have entered, either Success or Error.

    1. If all your classes are successful, you’re done!

    2. If there is error, read the message, you will most likely have to pick other classes and go back to Step 3.
